We are doing well, Anna's 2nd bday is around the corner and im not ready for it at all. She has gorwn up so fat the last 2 years, and just keps getting bigger and growing and sigh. We had to have her evalutated for speech because she seems to be a bit slow on her verbal stuff, but she's fine, just stubborn.. no idea where that came from. Halloween was fun, she had a blast dressing up as a ladybug and trick or treating.
We put the Christmas lights up on the hosue yesterday, I love it. I waited all day for it to get dark, to be able to bring Anna outside so she could see them.. it was so incredible the look of wonder on her face! I loved it, what a great moment. She whispered Wow, and her eyes were round as saucers.

Jamie is working normally, and we have his paernts up here now, so we get to see them fairly regularily. It's nice having family close by. We are still pretty much homebodies, but it works well for us.

Christmas is around the corner and still haven't paid off layaway. Kmart is the only place to do that now! I hate that. I loved Walmart just for that one reason. oh well!

I got a kitten, i named him snuggles (yes i know that is gay)he snuggles with me all the time.

And gives kisses! he is so cute!

I am fair. I am dreading winter. Last winter was seriously depressing here, and although it was not a typical winter....I am still not excited about it. I can't seem to get into the holidays, and now my son is going to be spending Christmas with his father. So I am pretty much on a downer and thinking of going to Vegas to play slots instead of sitting by a tree drinking egg nog.

I am doing a 5k the morning of Thanksgiving. The hubby and I signed up.....it's early and will probably be quite cold. But it's been a good way for me to keep focused on losing weight through the holidays. Or at least not gaining......

I've been looking for a job, but haven't had much luck. However, I have my health, a roof over my head, and food....so really I have nothing to complain about. So many have so much less.

I am good. The move has finally caught up with me all the changes and with the holidays around the corner it sucks that my family is no longer close to me. I miss Florida and sometimes i wonder what the hell I am doing in Alabama. The house is supposed to close today finally (3 weeks late) but crossing our fingers it will finally be done today.

I am healthy (except my back went out last week).. my kids are awesome and Mikel loves his job. The scenic view from my deck gives me hope that everything is going to work out exactly like it should be.

MOTHERSHIP: sorry to hear about your son having to spend holidays away from home. I went through the same thing years ago.. never got easier... you are in my thoughts..

ZEUS: Do not give on on your internet 'friendship'. I met my husband online over 10 years ago and even though he lived 1327 miles away (he was in Illinois I was in Florida).. we still got together and have been blessed with a wonderful marriage for over 10 years.

OH YEAH.. I JUST remembered what I am doing in Alabama..
I am by Mikel's side the way I am supposed to be. He is my home, no matter what state I am in.

I'm good. Keira is a month old and I can't hardly believe that it's been that long already. She is normally a very good, laid back baby but the last couple of days she's been way off of her schedule. It's so strange. She's so restless, fussy, and just grumpy overall. I've been trying a few things with the hope of figuring it out. In the meantime, I've been walking around like a zombie. I'm so freakin' tired! LOL

We're STILL having money problems. It's real shitty because we sold our house to solve some of those problems and we were doing pretty well and then Chance got transferred and now he actually has to do the commute thing. He has to take his pickup truck to work now instead of the truck and the gas is KILLING us. I'm starting to think that we'll never get ahead! It's always one thing after another with us.


Zeus - Ruby is right. I met all of you guys AND my hubby online, too. My Mom met my step-dad online. Internet friendships rock. Never underestimate them.

Things on this end are good.. Looking forward to the holidays, even though everything is so 'unknown'. My girls and I are going to have a blast no matter where we end up!

Finally getting somewhere with my divorce stuff.. Which is a relief to finally be closing that chapter of my life and having the ability to progress...

My girls and I have been passing along colds back and forth for over a month now. IT'S AWFUL!!!! My work is sick of me..

Personal life going better now too.. So I guess other then beign sick, no complaints!

I will be spending thanksgiving in sunny florida...with a few crazy family members (and I do mean crazy), one very "I hate the world" cousin who is actually doing much better now that he is medicated, a couple of brits that I dont know, a guy I briefly dated and it ended badly, and my mother. Need I say more about how my thanksgiving will be?

But I am so looking forward to the beach!

more new appliances, horray! just got a new fridge, so the kitchen is done except the trim and the counter top. I will HOPEFULLY lay the floor in the living/dining rooms before christmas. that is all that is new.


ohh and i just finished my first semester of grad school.... one day i will finally be done with school, i promise!
