I'm moving to coffee town!
Well, it's official kids....I am moving to Seattle, WA. effective November 21st! I haven't said much about this because all of it has happened so fast. But the short story is: My company once again offered me a promotion, and asked me if I would be willing to relocate to Seattle. It took me a few days to come to grips with it all and to make my decision, but in the end, I knew it was the right move for me.
I am very happy that I didn't take their previous promotional offer which meant staying in Columbus for 2 more years. Like many of you said when I was grappling with that choice, everything happens for a reason!
As most of you know, I grew up/lived most of my life across the sound from Seattle. It was not my first choice in places to move to, but it will offer me many things that I don't have here. I will be much closer to Friends, my dad, the awesome Pacific Ocean, the absolutely beautful Cascade & Olympic mountains, skiing, fresh seafood, great wine, a vast choice of coffee retailers BESIDES Starbucks! And most importantly, a huge stepping stone for my career.
At first I was a little afraid of the "demons" I left behind there 4 years ago when I moved to Florida, but after I really thought about it (and many long talks with mothership), I realized that those demons are now gone from my life and this journey will be a completely new chapter in my life! I am very excited. For the first time, in a long time, I can feel my life moving forward. It's an awesome feeling!
And if anyone ever finds themselves up in the Pacific Northwest, please please please let me know! You are welcome in my home anytime and I would absolutely love to have you.
I think this calls for a smiley hugging a tree! hehehe, anyone know where I can find one?

If you don't get a 2 bd. you need to scoot over and let me in your bed when I visit, then you can just buy an airmattress for my monkeys.
Have you seen my ship?

Same goes for me
Congratulations. Glad to hear that you have something to look forward too.
I couldn't find a smiley hugging a tree, but I did find a hippie looking smiley.

Jamie and Charlene are the best people that I have never met.
I couldn't ask for better friends (even if some people think they are imaginary).

well looks like not bengals football... but there is the seahawks!
women are like mustangs, there's plenty of them, a few are nice, the rest of them are unreliable, cost money, and make noise.

Here is me at my going away happy hour for work last week. I look like a deranged lunatic. Can you tell the stress is catching up to me???? That big ass margarita with an extra shot did help however....
