I am interning at the newspaper here, the Florida Times-Union. I am currently working in the New Media department, dealing mostly with their website, Jacksonville.com.

I have been given the opportunity to write a column there whenever I want, so I created one last week. It's a science/technology column called "Big Science."

I like your article on 2012 and am very happy that you don't think its going to happen! LOL. I know we had a thread on here about that at one time...

I do have to throw in my 2 cents on the global warming article....

Anyone who doesn't believe in global warming either lives under a rock or is just lying to themselves so they can continue to destroy the earth without having to feel bad for their great great great grandkids. Whether it's global warming or 1000 other fancy names for what we are doing to the earth.....we suck.
